Strut your mutt at the Atlanta Humane Society’s Run for the Rescues 5K and Fun Run! The event will raise funds to support the local non-profit’s work finding homes for adoptable pets.  

The one-mile Fun Run (starting at 8:30 am) and the 5K (9:15 am) start in front of the library on Main Street.  Attendees are encouraged to bring their dogs out for this event to benefit homeless pets in Atlanta.  After the race, participants can enjoy awards, prizes, food and beverages, vendors and more.   

All competitors who register early will receive the official race t-shirt and runner’s bag.  Prizes will be awarded to the top make and female finishers overall and in age groups.  Awards will also be given to the top three dogs to cross the finish line in the 5K, and bandanas will be awarded to all participating dogs.
