Home MenuTown Center on Main, DeLay Nature Park and PlayTown Suwanee
The City of Suwanee is thrilled to announce the opening of Town Center on Main & DeLay Nature Park, our newest park additions. These two parks have been years in the making, stemming from the community's desire for more public green spaces. Town Center on Main is a roughly 13-acre urban park that expands upon the popular Town Center Park, providing even more opportunities for residents to enjoy outdoor activities and connect with nature. This development has been thoughtfully planned and designed to offer a vibrant mix of recreation, relaxation, and entertainment options. This space is designed for everyone—from families enjoying a picnic to athletes on the volleyball courts, walkers traversing the 1,200 foot long park-spanning bridge to art enthusiasts awaiting the upcoming Greater Good Veterans Memorial, set to open in fall 2024. DeLay Nature Park is roughly 15-acres of wooded nature along Brushy Creek. Containing the ½ mile Brushy Creek Greenway, the park extends from Stonecypher Road to Suwanee Dam Road adjacent to Town Center on Main. The third park is the ever popular – and recently reconstructed – PlayTown Suwanee. This children's super-duper playground is almost an acre of swings, slides, sandboxes, and other fun stuff.
Introducing Suwanee Circle: Your New Food Truck Destination
One of the most exciting new additions coming to Town Center on Main will be Suwanee Circle, a vibrant Food Truck Park that will officially debut in Spring 2025. Suwanee Circle promises to be a top-tier destination, complete with a large outdoor bar, seating areas with tables and chairs, TVs for catching the big game, a small stage for live acoustic music, twinkling lights, and plenty of greenery that will bring the space to life. This new food truck park will offer a dynamic mix of rotating food trucks, fun, and entertainment that truly embodies the energy of Suwanee.
Fall Preview: A First Taste of Suwanee Circle
But you don’t have to wait until spring to get a taste of Suwanee Circle! This fall, the community can experience a special extended preview of the Food Truck Park. An early version of Suwanee Circle will be open every Saturday and Sunday through November 24, offering a rotating selection of food trucks and drinks. This fall activation is designed to let you enjoy the space and get a feel for what’s coming, all while helping fine-tune the experience.
During this preview period, you’ll notice some temporary setups. Instead of the finished bar that will come in the spring, you’ll find a “charming” portable shed serving up drinks. Seating will be more “relaxed,” with simple picnic tables in place of the forthcoming custom-designed furniture planned for the full launch. This isn’t just a soft opening; it’s a chance for us to gather feedback, test concepts, and work out the kinks so that Suwanee Circle is at its best when it officially opens next Spring.
What to Expect this Fall:
- A Casual, Laid-Back Atmosphere: Enjoy the food truck experience in a welcoming, picnic-style setting with temporary furnishings.
- Rotating Food Trucks: Taste a variety of delicious options each weekend, curated by our local entrepreneurs and food truck partners.
- Live Acoustic Music and Community Vibes: Experience the park as a gathering place, with occasional musicians adding to the ambiance.
- A Look Ahead to Spring: Discover the vision for Suwanee Circle as we share updates, designs, and future plans for this exciting space.
Fall Food Truck Park Hours (weather permitting):
- Saturdays & Sundays: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
We invite you to come explore the beginnings of Suwanee Circle this fall, enjoy a meal with family and friends, and see firsthand the transformation that’s underway. This is just the start, and we can’t wait to share more with you as we prepare to unveil the full Suwanee Circle experience in spring 2025.
